So this outfit just kind of came together one day...we got the shirt at the Farmers Market and it was on top of his pile in his drawer. Then, I had to go down to the basement to get pants and there were the camos...so I thought that would be funny AND he'd be making a much needed statement....I don't know what we're going to do if we end up with an Alex P. Keaton on our hands....but for now, Abel will support what we support! :)

Abel's Silent Protest
So this outfit just kind of came together one day...we got the shirt at the Farmers Market and it was on top of his pile in his drawer. Swim Lessons
Cousins!
I decided we needed a spontaneous trip down to Indy to just get out of town and see our friends' new baby...so, we loaded up and headed down. It turned out my sister was there with her kids so they got to have some bonding time....Abel and Harper shared toys, they all had fun playing on the carpet, and we went swimming at The Riviera Club (the place we all swam as kids). Everyone had a great time at the pool. Harper and Abel were so relaxed, they napped together! The sight of them sitting in their carseats and napping poolside with both their heads turned the same way was too funny! A few people asked if they were twins!

Lots of new posts!
We hadn't updated in awhile and had lots to share! Be sure to scroll all the way down and click on older posts!! Enjoy!
You read it, I'll eat it!
I'm a subscriber to People...Ok, fine, I also subscribe to Us Weekly (think what you want, but without a doubt, whenever people come over they ALWAYS pick them up and start flipping through the pages!) Anyway, this weekend, Abel's hands went wandering and he came across one of them...he promptly picked it up and stuck it in his mouth! Too cute! Little does he know that when he was very little, People was his periodical of choice for read aloud time!
Fun with the Flessners!

Ski Show!
Every Sunday night, the Mad Town Ski Team does a ski show on Lake Monona. We went last weekend and knew that Ryan's family would love it. We took along a little picnic of appetizers and then watched the show. It's a really awesome show! Abel was all off on his schedule and slept in the beginning (that's why I'm sitting sideways at the picnic table....not because I'm being anti-social!). When he woke up, he quickly ate and then also enjoyed the show! He's getting lots of hair in. It appears to be dark blond and curly...but there's getting to be so much, it was actually blowing in the wind on the GORGEOUS summer evening we had!
The Patriarch of Peanut Butter
No, this is not an advertisement for Jiffy peanut butter (although it sure could be!)...this is simply proof that Ryan's incredible love of peanut butter has clearly come from his grandfather! Grandpa Flessner had toast with peanut butter every morning for breakfast, a snack of graham crackers and peanut butter (a Ryan Flessner favorite!) and celery with peanut butter, and was awfully cute while enjoying! The man walks at least an hour a day (at 5 in the morning...otherwise I would have maybe joined him!)...so he can afford to eat all that peanut butter!
But I want what you're having!

Sitting Up!
So, Abel has finally made it to the point where he can sit on his own and play and play. I can put a pile of toys all around him and he'll move from toy to toy and keep himself occupied for a long time. Every once in awhile, he topples, but for the most part he is Mr. Strong! He's also loving to share with Wrigley. I think Wrigley loves having someone at his level. Abel gets LOTS of Wrigley kisses!
